First entry! Late to the party! Studio Work Ethic

OK, so I realize I'm a little bit late jumping on the blog-waggon. And I can't promise witty insightful observations about life, art and the world at large, but I did want a quick, easy way to provide semi-regular updates about my work. Hey, it's a great marketing tool! Or maybe not. At any rate it's a good outlet because sometimes creativity works literally, visually and physically across all currents. Sometimes when the visual language isn't as effective as I'd hoped, it's good to take a step back and think consciously about different mediums.

At any rate, I'm going to let this blog develop organically and hope it to be a reflection of my ongoing studio practice.

Here's a picture of a young bunny that has not yet learned to avoid everything human. He comes regularly to look at himself in the reflective surface of glare film that we put on the front door. Our cat Cicero is shouting "Meat! Look at the meat!" I don't think the bunny realizes there's another side to the door and I don't think Cicero realizes that the bunny can't see him. I guess when the bunny preened right in front of the cat it just about blew his mind.
